The Restless Anal Syndrome is a variant of the Restless Legs Syndrome.
Risk factors:
(1) Parkinson's disease
(2) COVID-19
Features:
(1) anorectal discomfort
(2) associated with an urge to move, with worsening at rest and in the evening
Exclusions:
(1) any structural anal lesion
(2) leg symptoms
(3) functional anorectal pain (proctalgia fugax)
