Certain findings on Computer-Tomography (CT) scans of the kidney are associated with analgesic nephropathy.
Findings associated with analgesic nephropathy:
(1) papillary calcifications
(2) >= 3 cortical indentations on a slice image ("bumpy" contour)
(3) decrease in renal size estimate (< 103 square mm in males, < 96 square mm in females)
