Description

Stinear et al reported categories of recovery following loss of motor function in an upper extremity following stroke. The level of recovery can help guide rehabilitation. The authors are from the University of Auckland and Auckland City Hospital in New Zealand.


Patient selection: stroke with loss of upper extremity function

 

Time frame for evaluation: 12 weeks post-stroke
