Recommended ways of cleaning an infant feeding bottle.

(1) Empty the bottle.

(2) Wash the bottle and nipple with clean, soapy water.

(3) Rinse the bottle and nipple with clean water.

(4) Totally submerge the bottle and nipple in a hypochlorite solution made to 50 parts per million (ppm) for at least 30 minutes.

(5) Rinse the bottle and nipple with clean water.

(6) Drain and allow to dry.
