Description

The clinical activity of Raynaud’s disease may be monitored using daily and weekly measures, including the Raynaud’s Condition Score (RCS).

Daily measures:

(1) Raynaud’s Condition Score for level of difficulty caused by RD (primarily in the use of the hands) on a visual analogue scale (VAS)

(2) number of attacks and duration in minutes

(3) pain on a visual analogue scale (VAS)

(4) numbness on a visual analogue scale (VAS)

(5) other symptoms on a visual analogue scale (VAS)

Measures for past week (may be used by both the patient and physician):

(1) overall condition (global) on a visual analogue scale (VAS)

(2) severity of Raynaud’s disease on a visual analogue scale (VAS)

(3) severity of digital ulcers on a visual analogue scale (VAS)

The VAS are anchored at 0 (none) and 10 (extreme).
