Description

Liu et al reported the QQ-LAE score for evaluating a patient having cardiac resynchronization therapy. This can help to identify a super-responder. The authors are from Peking Union Medical College and Capital Medical University in Beijing.

Patient selection: cardiac resynchronization therapy

Super-responder: dramatic improvement of left ventricular ejection fraction with excellent long-term outcome (defined as absolute increase of LVEF >= 15% at 6-month follow-up)

Parameters:

(1) prior no fragmented QRS (Q)

(2) QRS duration (Q)

(3) left bundle branch block (L)

(4) left atrial diameter in mm (A)

(5) left ventricular end-diastolic diameter (LVEDd) in mm (E)
