Description

Perri et al developed a score for evaluating a woman with recurrent gynecologic cancer and malignant bowel obstruction. This can help to identify a patient who may benefit from palliative surgery. The authors are from Sheva Medical Center and Tel Aviv University in Israel.


Patient selection: women with gynecologic cancer (ovarian, cervical, uterine, primary peritoneal)

 

Outcome: 30 and 60 day mortality
