Naka et al developed a prognostic score for patients with angiosarcoma. This can help identify a patient who may benefit from more aggressive or novel management. The authors are from the Osaka University in Japan.

• Multimodal therapy consists of excisional surgery with chemotherapy, with or without radiation therapy.

• Age greater than 50 years was an additional poor prognostic finding.

• The higher the score the worse the prognosis.
