Wilcox et al evaluated the prognostic significance of the absolute monocyte and lymphocyte counts in patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). A model using both is comparable to the IPI for risk stratification. The authors are from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
