Tanaka et al developed a simple score for predicting overall survival in a patient with HIV and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). This can help to identify a patient who may benefit from more aggressive management. The authors are from Instituto de Infectologia Emiolio Ribas and Sao Paulo University in Brazil.
Patient selection: HIV-positive with DLBCL
Parameters:

• minimum score: 0
• maximum scoer: 2
• The higher the score the worse the cumulative survival.
