Description

Scarisbrick et al developed a prognostic model for patients with mycosis fungoides or Sezary syndrome. This can help to identify a patient who may benefit from more aggressive or a novel therapy. The authors are from the Cutaneous Lymphoma International Consortium.

Patient selection: Mycosis fungoides or Sezary syndrome, stages IIB to IV (advanced stage)

Parameters at time of initial diagnosis:

(1) stage

(2) age in years

(3) large cell transformation (LCT)

(4) serum LDH concentration
