Description

Kanemasa et al reported a prognostic model for patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). This can help to predict the risk of an isolated CNS relapse after initial management. The authors are from Metropolitan Cancer and Infectious Disease Center Komagome Hospital in Tokyo.

Patient selection: diffuse large B-cell lymphoma involving the central nervous system

Parameters:

(1) number of extranodal sites

(2) serum albumin in g/dL

(3) retroperitoneal lymph node involvement

(4) Ann Arbor stage
