Prognostic Combination Models of Louvet et al for Alcoholic Hepatitis: Lille and MELD Scores

Louvet et al modeled combinations of the dynamic Lille score with other more static scores in patients with alcoholic hepatitis. One combination involved the Lille and MELD scores. The authors are from multiple institutions in Europe, Korea and the United States.

Performance:

• The Akaike information criterion was 1305, which was slightly lower than the other combinations, indicating that it was better in predicting patient survival.
