Description

5WH is a problem-solving technique that is simple to ask but not always easy to complete. Aristotle is credited with being the source.

5WH consists of the 5 W's and 1 H.

5 W's:

(1) who

(2) what

(3) when

(4) where

(5) why

1 H:

(1) how

All of the questions should be answered for a report to be complete.

The more complete the answers the more valuable the data is for problem-solving.
