Sanchez-Luengos et al evaluated factors impacting health-related quality of life in patients with Parkinson's disease. The presence of these factors can help to identify a patient who may benefit from interventions that will improve the quality of life. Patient selection: Parkinson's disease (PD)
Predictors of reduced health-related quality of life:
(1) anxiety
(2) fatigue
(3) motor symptoms
(4) neurocognitive problems
Mobility, UPDRS-III, emotional well-being, bodily discomfort, and activities of daily living (ADL) were influenced by fatigue.
Social support, cognition and bodily discomfort were influenced by anxiety.
