Kumar et al reported predictors of 30-day readmission following a hospital admission for sickle cell crisis. These can help to identify a patient who may require more aggressive management. The authors are from Brigham and Women's Hospital, Dana Farber Cancer Center, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
