Description

Carvalho et al identified predictors of infection in a hospitalized patient with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). These can help to distinguish the inflammatory reaction to infection from that associated with the autoimmune disorder. The authors are from Federal University of Minas Gerais in Brazil.
