### Description

Acute myocardial infarction is associated with early mortality despite modern advances in therapy. In patients who are candidates for thrombolytic therapy, it is possible to assess a patient's risk of death within 30 days after an acute myocardial infarction. This is based on analysis of patients in the GUSTO-I trial.
