where:
• A person with PI 20 shows no physical activity but had some signs of life during transport to the hospital.
• The blood pressure for a PI 5 should be > 80 mm Hg.
• Consciousness should not be used alone since other injuries could explain it.
• The PI scores could be replaced by Grades 1 to 4.
