Patient selection: pediatric patient
Anal findings:
(1) anal fissures
(2) perianal dermatitis
Female genital findings:
(1) enlargement of the hymenal opening
(2) vaginal foreign bodies
Urethral and urinary tract findings:
(1) urethral prolapse
(2) urinary tract infection
Skin lesions:
(1) Mongolian spots (which may mimic bruises)
(2) nevi
(3) molluscum contagiosum
(4) anogenital lichen sclerosus
Perineal findings:
(1) incomplete midline perineal fusion
(2) straddle injury or other accidental perineal trauma
