Description

The PAINESD score can identify a patient at risk for acute hemodynamic decompensation during catheter ablation of scar-related ventricular tachycardia or other procedures.


Parameters:

(1) pulmonary disease (COPD, P)

(2) age (A)

(3) ischemic cardiomyopathy (I)

(4) NYHA functional class (N)

(5) left ventricular ejection fraction (E)

(6) presentation with VT electrical storm (S)

(7) diabetes mellitus (D)
