Traumatic injury to the ovary can be graded using the Ovary Injury Scale.

deep (depth > 0.5 cm)

partial disruption of the blood supply

avulsion or complete parenchymal destruction
V
If bilateral injuries are present, then advance grade by 1 up to Grade III.
