Description

Lee et al reported the Operation Frailty Risk (OFRS) for evaluating an older adult prior to surgery. This can help to identify a patient at risk for perioperative frailty. The authors are from Asan Medical Center, Asan Medical Center, and Kyung Hee University in South Korea.

Patient selection: older adult >= 75 years of age

Parameters:

(1) age in years

(2) Hospital Frailty Risk Score

(3) operation group, from 1 (simplest) to 8 (most complex)
