OHVIRA Syndrome (Obstructed Hemivagina and Ipsilateral Renal Anomaly) is a rare Mullerian duct abnormality that may first present during menarche or early adulthood.
Synonym: Herlyn-Werner-Wunderlich (HWW) Syndrome
Triad of findings
(1) uterus didelphys
(2) obstructed hemivagina
(3) ipsilateral renal anomaly (agenesis, etc)
Complications:
(1) hematometra
(2) pelvic inflammatory disease
(3) infertility
(4) recurrent pregnancy loss
