Certain occupations may be at increased risk for electrical hazard.


Employees at increased risk:

(1) electricians

(2) welders

(3) disaster recovery

 

Employees who may be at increased risk:

(1) supervisors

(2) electrical and electronic engineers

(3) electrical and electronic equipment assemblers

(4) industrial machine operators

(5) material handling equipment operators

(6) mechanics

(7) repairers

(8) painters

(9) riggers and roustabouts

(10) stationary engineers

(11) crane operators

 

Employees at increased risk who need to be trained about electrical hazards:

(1) if exposed to parts of electrical circuits operating at >= 50 volts to ground

(2) if supervise people who may be exposed to parts of electrical circuits operating at >= 50 volts to ground
