Description

Scarpa et al used a simple score to evaluate the cosmetic appearance of the penis following distal hypospadias repair. The authors are from S. Bortolo Hospital in Vicenza and the University of Padova in Padua, Italy.

• minimum score: 0

• maximum score: 10

• The higher the score the more normal the appearance.

 

Performance:

• The authors found that a subjective assessment of appearance worked as well as the objective score.
