Description

He et al reported two nomograms for patients with a periampullary adenocarcinoma who have undergone pancreatoduodenectomy. One model predicts progression-free survival. The authors are from Sun Yat-Sen Cancer Center in Guangzhou, China.

Patient selection: periampullary adenocarcinoma status post pancreatoduodenectomy

Parameters:

(1) lymph node ratio (LNR)

(2) type of tumor

(3) serum CA 19-9 concentration in U/mL

(4) tumor differentiation
