Nodular scabies is an uncommon clinical form of scabies.
Clinical features:
(1) reddish to brown papules and nodules up to 1.5 cm in diameter
(2) usual locations: axillae, penis, scrotum, groin, buttocks
(3) severe pruritis
(4) positive parasite exam (scrapings, dermoscopic, histologic) for mites, eggs, etc
(5) responds to topical permethrin and oral ivermectin
