Filipovich et al developed criteria for the severity of chronic graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) for the National Institutes of Health. After various sites are score they can be combined into a global score.
Patient selection: chronic GVHD
Parameters:
(1) grade for pulmonary involvement
(2) number of non-pulmonary organs or sites with Grade 1, excluding performance status
(3) number of non-pulmonary organs or sites with Grade 2, excluding performance status
(4) number of non-pulmonary organs or sites with Grade 3, excluding performance status
