Emanuel et al reported the Myeloproliferative Neoplasm Symptom Assessment Form Total System Score (MPN-SAF TTS) to evaluate a patient with a myeloproliferative disorder (MPN). The authors are from multiple institutions in the United States, Europe and South America.

Interpretation:
• minimum score: 0
• maximum score: 100
• The higher the score the greater the symptom burden.
ElNahass et al report that the final score is derived by taking the average score then multiplying by 10. However, taking the average involves division by 10, so multiplying by 10 negates the step.
