Description

Gagnon et al reported the Montreal Prognostic Score (MPS) for a patient with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). This can help to determine the prognosis of the patient. The authors are from Universite Laval, McGill University, University and Hospital of Larissa.

Patient selection: non-small cell lung cancer, Stage III or IV

Outcome: median survival time in months

Parameters:

(1) stage

(2) serum C-reactive protein in mg/L

(3) serum albumin in g/L

(4) serum LDH in IU/L

(5) neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR)
