Description

Lee et al reported a modification of the SOFA subscore for cardiovascular status that can be used in a septic patient.  This improves model performance for predicting 28-day mortality. The authors are from multiple institutions in South Korea.

Patient selection: sepsis

Parameters:

(1) mean arterial pressure (MAP) in mm Hg

(2) serum lactate in mmol/L

(3) norepinephrine equivalent dose in µg/kg/min
