Description

Pulignano et al evaluated prognosis for older adults with heart failure. They showed that gait speed was a valuable predictor of outcomes. The authors are from multiple hospitals in Italy and members of the IMAGE-HF Study.


 

Patient selection: older adult (>= 70 years) with heart failure, community-dwelling

 

Outcome: 1-year all cause mortality
