MGAP Score (Mechanism, Glasgow Coma Score, Age, Arterial Pressure) for a Trauma Patient

Sartorius et al reported the MGAP score based on mechanism, Glasgow Coma Score, age and arterial blood pressure. This can help to identify a trauma patient who is at increased risk for mortality. The authors are from multiple trauma centers in France.

Patient selection: trauma

Outcome: in-hospital mortality

Parameters collected in prehospital stage:

(1) Glasgow coma score (from 3 to 15)

(2) systolic blood pressure in mm Hg

(3) mechanism of trauma

(4) age in years
