Description

Once the desired maximum and minimum serum concentrations at steady state are known, then the dosing interval can be determined.

First, choose the desired concentration minimum at steady state = C(min-ss)

Second, choose the desired concentration maximum at steady state = C(max-ss)

Third, calculate

dosing interval = ((time for infusion) - (A))

where:

• A = ((LN[C(min-ss) / C(max-ss)]) / (elimination rate constant))
