Description

The Medical Emergency Triage and Treatment System (METTS) triages a patient in the Emergency Department based on vital sign and chief complaint.

Parameters for vital sign assessment:

(1) airway (A)

(2) respiration (B, breathng)

(3) circulation (C)

(4) disability (D) related to CNS

(5) exposure (E), based on body temperature in °C
