Savall et al reported a decision tree for determining sex based on measurements from the coxal bone of the pelvis. The authors are from multiple institutions in Toulouse, France.
Parameters (see Tables and Figures page 1396-1397):
(1) II-HA: distance from most inferior point of ischium (II) to highest point of acetabulum (HA)
(2) IP-OF: distance from most inferior point of pubic symphysis (IP) to the most anterior point of the obturator foramen (OF)
(3) AIS-GSN: distance from anterior inferior iliac spine (AIS) to widest point of the greater sciatic notch (GSN)
