Yan et al reported the Maternal Anxiety for Neonatal Jaundice Scale (MANJS) to evaluate the level of anxiety shown by a mother with a jaundiced neonate. This can help to identify excessive anxiety. (5) go online for information or keep consulting doctors and friends
(6) observe infant's every move and repeatedly confirm whether the behavior is related to jaundice
(7) keep an eye on the jaundice level and double check that it is within the normal range
