The behavior may affect both men and women. It can occur at almost any age.
Preoccupation with sex:
(1) calling sex phone lines
(2) reading pornographic magazines or books
(3) watching pornographic video
(4) visiting pornographic web sites on the Internet
(5) drawing pornographic pictures
Vocal manifestations:
(1) making sexually explicit remarks
(2) telling inappropriate dirty jokes
Physical manifestations:
(1) public exposure of genitalia
(2) public masturbation
(3) touching other people on the buttocks, breasts or genitals
(4) inappropriate kissing and hugging
(5) sexual imposition with friends or strangers (oral sex, intercourse, etc)
(6) frequent requests for sex from spouse or partner
(7) frequent visits to professional sex workers
(8) development of a fetish
