diagnosis specifying alcohol use

diagnosis specifying alcohol use

where:

• A diagnosis related to alcoholic liver disease may specify alcohol in its name (alcohol intoxication, alcohol withdrawal, alcohol gastritis, etc).

• If the secondary diagnosis is alcoholic liver disease, then the primary diagnosis should be a known complication of alcoholic liver disease.
