Lichtenberg's figures or sign can be seen on the skin of a person exposed to lightning,
Features:
(1) fern-like lesions on the skin (fractal pattern)
(2) non-anatomic pattern (not conforming to nerves or vessels)
(3) marked by first degree burns in the skin
Situations where Lichtenberg figures can be found:
(1) lightning strike (if positively charged according to Nijsten et al)
(2) high-voltage electrical discharge
