Description

Stepien et al reported the Lichen Planus Activity and Damage Index (LiPADI). This measures disease activity and damage in various body sites. The authors are from Rzeszow University and Medical University of Lublin in Poland.


LiPADI subparts:

(1) skin activity

(2) activity at other site (mucous membranes and hair)

(3) damage at all sites

 

Accessible mucous membranes:

(1) oral cavity

(2) anogenital area

 

Hair regions:

(1) scalp

(2) other sites with hair

• minimum subscore for mucous membranes: 0

• maximum subscore for mucous membranes: 12

• minimum subscore for hair: 0

• maximum subscore for hair: 8 (assuming 2 hair regions)
