Does the ventilatory gas mixture use minimal FIO2, without nitrous oxide?

Have steps been taken to appropriately protect the endotracheal tube cuff?

Are members of the OR staff trained and drilled to handle an airway fire?

Are emergency supplies including a rigid bronchoscope and forceps readily available?

Does the anesthesiologist observe the endotracheal tube for evidence of fire or soot deposits during surgery?
