Description

Kim et al reported a score for predicting mortality in a patient who is being discharged after an acute myocardial infarction. The authors are from multiple institutions in Korea with participation in the Korea Acute Myocardial Infarction Registry (KAMIR).

Patient selection: acute myocardial infarction with survival to discharge

Parameters:

(1) age in years

(2) Killip class from I to IV

(3) percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)

(4) serum creatinine in mg/dL

(5) left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) in percent

(6) blood glucose on admission in mg/dL
