KNGF (Joninklijk Nederlands Genootschap voor Fysiotherapie or Royal Dutch Society for Physical Therapy) describes four grades of neck pain.
Parameters:
(1) signs and symptoms of major structural pathology
(2) interference with activities of daily living
(3) neurologic findings (muscle weakness, sensory disorder, reduced deep tendon reflexes)
