Description

The Irish Children's Triage System is used to triage pediatric patient coming to the Emergency Department.


Patient selection: unwell child, age < 1 year

(1) blood glucose

(2) abnormal age-related vital signs

(3) SaO2 in percent on room air

(4) Glasgow coma scale

(5) pain

(6) shock

(7) duration

(8) history or mechanism

(9) seizures

(10) reaction to parents or guardian
