Description

The Irish Children's Triage System is used to triage pediatric patient coming to the Emergency Department. The system includes guidance on graing dehydration in pediatric patients.


Patient selection: pediatric patient with dehydration

 

Parameters:

(1) percent loss in body weight

(2) peripheral perfusion

(3) skin turgor

(4) other physical findings

(5) urine output

(6) behavioral changes
