Description

The Irish Children's Triage System is used to triage pediatric patient coming to the Emergency Department.


Patient selection: ear or nasal problem

(1) hemorrhage

(2) abnormal age-related vital signs

(3) shock

(4) Glasgow coma scale

(5) changes around the ear

(6) pain

(7) discharge from ear or nose

(8) duration

(9) history of bleeding disorder

(10) history or mechanism
