The Irish Children's Triage System is used to triage pediatric patient coming to the Emergency Department.


Patient selection: chest pain and isolated chest injury

(1) hemorrhage

(2) abnormal age-related vital signs

(3) shock

(4) Glasgow coma scale

(5) penetrating or blunt chest/abdominal/pelvic trauma

(6) pain

(7) SaO2 on room air in percent

(8) duration
