Flying a kite can be hazardous to both the person flying the kite and bystanders.
Injuries that may be associated with flying a kite:
(1) electrocution from lightning or touching an electrical wire
(2) falling from a height while flying the kite on a roof or edge of a cliff
(3) being thrown off a bike or motorcycle by a kite string running across a road
(4) being cut (on the face, neck, torso, limb) by a kite string coated with glass (used in kite flying competitions where the goal is to attack an opponent's kite)
(5) being strangled by a string that gets entwined around the neck
